Their flagship product suite, used by industry leaders like TFL and Stagecoach, delivers real-time insights and predictive analytics to improve efficiency and customer service.
As a Data Scientist, you’ll support the development of products that leverage simulation-based modelling, predictive analytics, and optimisation techniques. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data science, with opportunities to work on impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and refine predictive models using machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
* Develop probabilistic and Bayesian models for real-time network understanding.
* Analyse and visualise data using GIS tools to uncover actionable insights.
* Work with databases and cloud computing resources (GCP preferred).
* Contribute to model deployment, monitoring, and productisation processes.
What We’re Looking For
* 1+ years in data science/machine learning (commercial or academic equivalent).
* Proficient in Python, with knowledge of Java (or a willingness to learn). Familiarity with SQL and cloud platforms is a plus.
* Strong foundation in traditional ML methods, probabilistic approaches, and Bayesian inference.
* Hackathons, internships, or independent projects are highly valued.
* A quantitative degree and ideally a Master’s in data science or a related field.
