Are you an experienced MSK Clinician looking to take the next step in your career? Do you thrive in a collaborative, evidence-based environment where patient care is at the heart of everything?
At Novus Health, we’re dedicated to providing high-quality musculoskeletal care, and we’re looking for a skilled Band 6 MSK Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you’ll work autonomously, using advanced clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills to assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients across multiple clinical pathways. You’ll provide comprehensive holistic assessment, deliver individualised rehabilitation plans and lead group-based exercise sessions, ensuring patients receive the best possible care. Working closely with other clinicians, Exercise Rehabilitation Instructors, and Health Coaches, you’ll play a key role in helping patients achieve the best outcomes.
What you’ll do:
1. Conduct thorough MSK assessments, both face to face and remotely, considering medical, psychological, and social factors.
2. Use advanced clinical reasoning to diagnose conditions and develop personalised, evidence-based treatment plans.
3. Adapt, progress, and tailor rehabilitation programs to patient needs.
4. Provide clinical expertise and mentorship, offering supervision to junior staff and students.
5. Contribute to service development, audits, and research, ensuring we continue to deliver high standards of care.
6. Stay up to date with the latest evidence-based practice through training and development opportunities.
We believe in investing in our team and will provide you with opportunities for ongoing training and professional development. We also recognise the importance of work-life balance and staff wellbeing, ensuring a positive and supportive working environment where you can thrive.
Benefits include:
1. 28 days annual leave FTE, plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata) and your birthday off (if within working hours).
2. 7% employer’s pension contribution.
3. Reimbursement of professional memberships.
4. Family and friends vouchers (20% off Novus Hearing).
5. Organisational health and wellbeing scheme.
6. Cycle to work scheme.
7. Charity ‘give back’ days – two per annum.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, lead within a dynamic team, and make a real impact on patient care.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and want to be part of a service that helps patients Get Better, Stay Better, we’d love to hear from you! To apply, submit a CV and cover letter to novus.recruitment@nhs.net for the attention of Faye Stones, Head of MSK.
