Job Description: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated TA to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students' educational and personal development, working closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning experience tailored to each child's unique needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN in various subjects and activities. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each student. Help manage behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor and report on students' progress and well-being. Support students in developing social skills and participating in school activities. Perform administrative tasks such as preparing learning materials and organising classroom resources. Requirements: Previous experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students. Must be able to drive and have access to a reliable vehicle for commuting and potential off-site activities. Desirable: Relevant qualifications in education or child development. First Aid certification. Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
