Role: Customer Services Apprentice (Revenues & Benefits)
Location: Leyland / Chorley
Contract: Full time (36.25 hours per week) / 2-year apprenticeship
Salary: £21,624 - £22,683

Throughout this apprenticeship, you’ll learn skills to be customer focused and forward thinking whilst completing a Level 4 Revenues and Welfare Benefits Practitioner Apprenticeship.
What you’ll be getting up to
* You’ll be making a difference by ensuring a high standard of service and excellent outcomes for our customers.
* You’ll be processing Housing Benefit & Council Tax Support claims.
* You’ll be assisting with the collection of Council Tax, National Non-Domestic Rates and Sundry Debts from our residents and businesses.
* You’ll be helping us to deliver quality services by responding to customer enquiries at the first point of contact.
Who we’re looking for
* We’re looking for someone who has an interest in local government, always aims to deliver excellent customer standards, and wants to gain skills to support and make a difference to our communities.
* You’ll understand how technology and digital services can help provide excellent customer service as well as good IT skills.
* You’ll also be able to communicate effectively, work under pressure and use initiative to organise and prioritise your own workload.
