About the Role: The role involves a variety of administrative and support tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the business area. Key responsibilities include managing callouts, timesheets, payroll, and MCM job completions to invoicing. The role also encompasses handling purchase orders, eLearning for operatives and subcontractors, and producing client and finance reports. Regular updates are provided in branch meetings. The role supports the administration process by ensuring accurate and timely recording and response to all communications in line with standard operating procedures. Additionally, the role involves supporting administrative duties across local teams, branches, clients, and internal departments. This includes managing materials requisition, purchase orders, invoicing, and the timely input of cost data to complete and invoice work orders. Ensuring a professional customer experience is central to the role, requiring effective communication with service users, clients, and stakeholders, while maintaining high standards of health and safety. Collaboration with team members, including administrators, operatives, supervisors, and subcontractors, is essential to deliver efficient and productive services. Key Criteria: Administrative Background: Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a branch or office setting, is essential. This includes managing correspondence, scheduling, and maintaining records. IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is crucial. Familiarity with other office technologies and software is also beneficial. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting effectively with staff, clients, and upper management.
