This is a key role in the Business that will work closely with the UK, Ireland & Sweden FP&A Director, along with the broader business, to provide analytical insights that contribute to the UK, Ireland & Sweden’s success.
Reporting into the FP&A Director, this role will support the UK, Ireland & Sweden organisation to deliver key analytical information and make data more accessible, helping the Business to achieve its objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Create, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards for Revenue, Expenses, Headcount, and other operational metrics.
2. Provide analytical insights related to clients, including client industry trends, size, product utilization, and payslip volumes.
3. Extracting, cleansing, and combining information from multiple data sets.
4. Driving upstream process improvements that result in more accurate reporting.
5. Training individuals on how to effectively use workbooks, reports, dashboards and any other tools that are developed.
6. Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats.
7. Continuously monitoring data quality.
8. Engage with other departments to develop a deep understanding of their functions and available reporting.
9. Support on the preparation of the monthly leadership dashboard reporting, covering financial and operational performance.
10. Providing general analytical support to the Finance team & business.
Skills & Experience Required
1. Must be a self-starter.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with stakeholders.
3. A solid understanding of data sources, data organisation and storage.
4. Strong IT and mathematical skills.
5. In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.
6. Ability to maintain clear lines of communication.
7. Accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
8. Proven ability to identify areas to improve and drive forward efficiencies.
Education & Experience
1. Degree educated with strong academics.
2. Advanced experience with Excel (Required).
3. Power BI developer experience (Required).
4. Experience of financial systems (Oracle preferable).
