As a pivotal member of our compliance team, you will work closely with Group and Divisional Management, reporting directly to the COO. Your role involves providing expert compliance support, fostering a culture of continual improvement, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Your new role
* Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance and financial crime-related support
* Review and manage counter-party relationships
* Monitor compliance performance and communicate results to management
* Review Delegated Authority agreements and offer advice on risk mitigation
* Provide guidance on financial crime prevention measures
* Act as a subject-matter expert on Lloyd's/London Market/Wholesale practices
* Develop and deliver training programmes for staff
* Oversee the integration of acquired firms
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have demonstrable knowledge of FCA compliance requirements related to both wholesale and reinsurance business, and an in-depth understanding of Lloyd's, ICOBS, and SMCR regulations. Familiarity with both traditional and non-traditional insurance concepts and hands-on experience in a broking or operational role within an insurance brokerage are essential. Strong familiarity and knowledge of Lloyd's, London market, and reinsurance sector will be crucial. You should possess excellent attention to detail, communication skills, analytical thinking, and organisational skills.
