Job Title: TeachingAssistant
Salary: £23,693.75 per annum
Location: Red Moor School, Lanlivery PL305BT
Hours: 42.5 hours perweek; Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly withthe brilliant pupils we care for, helping to make sure they get thevery best from their education. Each individual has so muchpotential, and they will rely on you to guide their learningjourneys.
You will help prepare learningmaterials and run classroom activities, with plenty of hands-onexperience and some supervision too. You will take responsibilityfor their emotional and physical needs, supporting them to developas individuals and engage with the world.
Supporting pupils with complex Social EmotionalMental Health (SEMH) needs is important and rewarding work, and youwill benefit from the tremendous support offered by our hugelyexperienced teams. As you help our students achieve real andsignificant progress, you will enjoy having a direct, positiveimpact on their developing lives.
Whowe are looking for
You will beadaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, bothindoors and outside according to individual need. Taking aresponsive and caring approach, you may be running classroomactivities, leading outdoor experiences or supervisingpupils as they explore further afield.

Red MoorSchool is an independent special educational needs provision nearBodmin, Cornwall. The school facilitates tailored support for up to60 pupils aged 5-18 whose needs are predominantly SEMH and ASDrelated.
The school opened in September 2020 andhas recently gone through significant refurbishment to allow ourstudents to further benefit from our fantastic location andcreativity of our staff team. The working day can be great fun andvaried but can also be challenging.
