RECEPTIONIST & ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, personable and reliable person to join our busy legal practice in Lichfield.
THE ROLE:
You will be required to undertake reception duties and provide support to the team across the departments with a range of administrative tasks including but not limited to:
1. Opening, sorting, dating and scanning incoming mail
2. General administration, filing and archiving
3. Typing
4. Post out duties
5. Photocopying and scanning as required
6. Binding documents
7. Answering telephone and taking messages when necessary
8. Greeting clients and advising staff of their arrival
9. Arranging tea and coffee for meetings
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
1. A minimum of 12 months experience working in an office environment in a similar role
2. Confident telephone manner and natural personable skills
3. Minimum A-Level or equivalent education required
4. Good written, numeracy and oral communication skills, Grade 5/6 or above in GCSE English and Maths (or similar qualifications)
5. Ability to effectively communicate and interact constructively with all levels of staff
6. Good time management and organisational skills
7. Good attention to detail
8. Punctual, professional and reliable
9. Excellent IT Skills and possess a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
10. Experience working in an office environment is essential but training will be given to fulfill the role
11. A willingness to learn new skills and work as a team
THE IMPORTANT PART:
This is a full time role but we will consider a part time position for the right candidate. The salary will be assessed according to experience. We offer employers’ contribution to a NEST pension scheme and 20 days holiday in addition to the office and statutory holidays.

Employing close to 20 staff, the firm can trace its roots back to 1910 when Leonard Hedley Adcock started in business as a general practitioner in West Bromwich. Now a specialist practice undertaking mainly property work, the firm is well known for its Leasehold reform and enfranchisement work.
