Location: Salford, Manchester Quay House, M50 2QH
Length: 3 months
Rate: £22.03 - £24.17 p/h (Inside IR35) (£40,094.60 - £43,989.40 p/a equivalent)
Hours: Mon – Fri 9 am – 5 pm (2 Days per week in office)

This organization is a major broadcaster in the UK, offering a wide range of television, radio, and digital content.
Role Function:
Working as part of a central Divisional Support Team within People Services or a Divisional HR team within Studios, the role is aligned and embedded within a Division and will partner with divisional teams and/or the business to enable the delivery of all employee lifecycle and divisional people plans in partnership with the wider HR Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* To act as an internal consultant, contracting on key activity required by the Division.
* Effective growth and management of key relationships within the business and/or the wider HR Team to enable swift and accurate response to requests for support.
* To proactively highlight or support on complex queries and requests received by the divisional team, ensuring they are either resolved or managed appropriately.
* To understand what is important to the Division and their Business Leaders, through being visible and present within both the HR and wider business environment.
* Keep a focus on continuous improvement opportunities and take accountability for developing options to resolve; or set out proposals and options to improve.
* Use internal agreed escalation paths to proactively deal with queries from the divisions.
* To ensure collaboration across the Divisional team and/or People Services to promote a culture of continuous improvement, and share/learn from each other.
* For roles embedded in People Services, responsible for raising the profile of People Services, helping the business to understand routes into HR by being an advocate for our digital and self-service approach.
* Accountable for the delivery of quality and timely work, which meets or exceeds the business's expectations.
* To provide internal support within the wider HR and/or People Services team for activities linked to the wider HR agenda.
* To foster a culture of service excellence, role-modelling this and coaching the team to deliver customer focus and management of expectations.
* Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of people solutions and understand the landscape for further improvement.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across HR, facilitating two-way communication between the business, translating business requirements and needs back into the HR and/or People Services function.
* Actively look to embed knowledge transfer both within the division being supported, the divisional support team, or the wider HR team.
* Be an ambassador for the function and represent HR internally and externally (as appropriate).
Essential:
* Experience of working in complex/matrix structures.
* Able to harness IT tools and systems to enable your performance.
* Able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and ability to develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with a variety of contacts; strong influencing and persuading skills.
Desirable:
* Prior experience working with people systems (such as SAP).
* Prior experience working in a centralized/shared service center environment (for roles embedded in People Services).
* Experience in delivering an HR Partnering approach.
