The role
As part of the People Services team, you will provide first-class, front-line HR advice and administration service to colleagues and managers across ITV divisions. You will provide administrative support to the Divisional HR Business Partners on specific employee relation issues and attend Divisional HR meetings, building relationships within the team to ensure a solid knowledge of the Division, its strategies, teams, people, and locations. You will work as a part of the wider HR Operations team to ensure that all policies, processes, templates, and documentation are applied effectively and lawfully.
Key responsibilities:
* Process contracts for new and existing colleagues
* Ensure critical pre-employment checks are carried out, specifically proof of Right to Work and DBS, and ensure signed contracts and forms have been returned for payroll processing
* Oversee management of employee life cycle by processing and issuing key HR documentation to colleagues
* Provide high quality and consistent advice to colleagues and the wider HR Team on policy and process, ensuring it meets all statutory, contractual, and legislative requirements (e.g., Right to work, Certificates of Sponsorship, DBS Checks)
* Ensure the integrity and security of all personal, contractual, and financial information
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria):
* Must have experience of working within an HR role previously
* Experience reviewing policies and working in line with group SLAs
* Previous experience dealing with multiple stakeholders of all different seniority

* An understanding of IR35 is desirable
* Be proactive and take initiative
* Adopt a flexible and fluid way of working as priorities change or differ
* Promote good practice and positivity in supporting the principles of Equality and Diversity
* Demonstrate confidentiality at all times
* Keep calm and organised under pressure or a busy workload
* Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
