Job Title: Level 2 and 3 Teaching Assistants Location: North East England, County Durham, Darlington Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Duties: Supporting the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans Assisting students with their learning and development Providing one-on-one support to students as needed Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with classroom management and behaviour control Supporting students with special educational needs Required Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Enhanced DBS check Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the national curriculum Understanding of different learning styles Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of individual students Strong organisational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Preferred Qualifications: First Aid training Training in supporting students with special educational needs Additional relevant qualifications in education or childcare Working Conditions: Working hours typically follow the school timetable May involve some physical activity, such as assisting students with mobility Opportunity to work in a rewarding and dynamic educational environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
