This fixed-term, part-time position is funded by the EPSRC through an award entitled ‘Shapeshifting Molecules’. The post holder will develop software and perform computational modelling to understand and design shapeshifting molecules.
Role
The position will suit a candidate with a background in DFT and molecular dynamics modelling of organic molecules, as well as python coding and machine learning. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide expert guidance and training of researchers engaged in other projects in the McGonigal group, and to contribute to the writing and publishing of high-quality manuscripts and disseminating the research at conferences.
Skills, Experience & Qualification needed
