We are working with a fabulous client in Derby who has an opening for a Payroll Manager. Ideally CIPPS qualified, you will be able to demonstrate end-to-end payroll experience as well as managing and motivating a small team. This role works closely with the senior team and offers both flexible hours and hybrid working.
Core duties include:
1. Day-to-day management of the team and processing of high volume, in-house payroll.
2. Benefits and P11D's management.
3. Management of the monthly pay cycle.
4. Training and development of the Payroll Team.
5. HMRC/payroll corrections.
6. Annual HMRC reconciliations.
Experience required:
1. Experience within a similar payroll manager/supervisory level role.
2. Experience of managing, motivating, and developing staff.
3. Exemplary UK payroll knowledge & confident running a fully in-house payroll.
4. Sound knowledge of occupational sickness, maternity, and paternity schemes and their application.
