Check the temperature of all chilled and frozen products before signing any paperwork. • Report stock shortages or warehouse plant breakdown to the Warehouse Charge Hand in a timely manner. • Put a bar code label / GRN number on all items received into the warehouse. • Undertake equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance with instructions. • Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety. • Contribute towards the smooth running of the team. Key Aspects of Job: • Understanding BRC Technical Standard in their areas and making sure that they should be implemented daily. • Have ownership of their responsibilities and make sure the members of their team clearly understand what they need to do on a daily basis. • To try to create a positive working environment with the members of their team. • To report daily issues including personnel to their supervisors in a timely manner. • Making sure all staff understand and follow all procedures throughout the factory. • Have ownership of the duties in the area that you are assigned to in any aspect of operation including machinery, personnel training, and technical requirement. Be able to work in cold envirnment.
