Role Overview:
Working in our Children’s Homes means being a part of a young person’s day-to-day life. This means being there for the highest highs and lowest lows. Our night support workers help enable our young people to get their childhood back and create pathways to become well-rounded adults – an incredibly rewarding role. There will be challenges along the way but there will also be moments that feel like huge small victories!
Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, and our aim is to create the best possible outcome for them. Our night support workers are fulfilled by affecting even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things.
Responsibilities:
* Support young people through the night, especially during times of trauma or distress.
* Build rapport and trust with young people.
* Handle tasks around the home such as paperwork, cleaning, and laundry during quieter times.

* Salary: Base salary of £28,536 - £31,488

Qualifications:
* A ‘can do’ attitude and a team player mentality.
* Genuine care for young people and empathy.
* Resilience to handle challenging situations.
* Full UK driving license held for at least 12 months.
* If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we’ll support your studies.
You’ll start as a Night Support Worker by joining our ‘Care Academy’ for 4 weeks of training with experienced professionals.
