Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a Local Government organisation for an immediate 'Performance and Governance Administrator'. Temporary for 3 months, with possibility of extension. The Client - This large organisation operates across a broad remit through its specific departments. Currently, the Finance and Governance department is seeking a strong administrator to support the delivery of the organisations, aspirations in relation to the services delivered by the Performance and Governance team. The Role - 36 hours per week, hybrid structure with a base site of Antrim. Due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate will need a valid driving license with access to a form of transport that will allow fulfilment of the duties. Duties would include but not be limited to: Deal courteously and effectively with emails, requests and complains from members of the public. Elected members, stakeholders and external agencies including FOI/EIR/DPA. Provide comprehensive administrative support for all aspects of Corporate Records Management; maintaining all necessary records, including data entry and processing of documentation. Maintain a working knowledge of appropriate legislation and procedures in relation to the Performance and Governance section to provide accurate information, advice and guidance. Maintain electronic diaries of appointments for Officers within the Performance team and book all necessary meeting rooms, equipment and catering arrangements. Create purchase orders, place orders for items requested and deliver items when goods are received. To minute take meetings and facilitate paperless meetings, preparing and circulating agendas, minutes and other papers as necessary. Assistant in research and preparation of reports, including those of a confidential nature. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) to include English and Maths or equivalent. Consideration may be given to those candidates who do not hold the above academic qualification but who can demonstrate a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience or clerical experience. Experience: A minimum of 2 years' administrative experience or clerical experience. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
