As Senior Finance Manager in Price Management, you will be a key member of the UK Commercial finance organisation and FLIT. This position is based in Leeds and you will have multiple touch points throughout our entire UK business, reporting to the VP Finance UK and working closely with the Head of Sales Finance and the UK Senior Sales Team.
What will the role look like?
You will have responsibility for delivery and support on specific projects and key business priorities in 2024 including:
Ongoing EBIT challenges; including identifying and modelling existing and future recovery opportunities, supporting Sales Finance and the SST.
Engagement and rollout of relevant Strategy 2026 pillars.
Key stakeholder input and support to the Net Revenue Management roll-out.
Commercialising sustainability; understanding costs and developing plans for recoveries.
Lead on driving process improvement initiatives, particularly within Price Management processes and financial forecast.
Working with the Price Manager and Sales Finance to ensure accurate and timely financial forecasts, especially during the baseline/input file creation.
Participation and market leadership within the virtual Price Management and wider Europe Finance community.
What do you need to succeed?
To be successful in this role you will have a solid understanding of the key UK dairy landscape and be familiar with Arla's brand positions. You should possess advanced Excel modelling skills, using pricing and costing principles, and be able to present the output in a clear and concise manner to a wider commercial audience. Additionally, knowledge of technical SAP pricing, rebate, and hierarchy systems is necessary to ensure accurate and timely pricing for customers. Familiarity with sales systems, such as Alice, Lotus Notes, and Sharepoint, is also desired. While previous line management experience is preferable, it is not mandatory.
