The Role
As a Support Practitioner, you'll become part of a small, friendly team who provide support to a lady in her own home. You’ll support with all aspects of daily living, including housework, medication, assistance with personal care and finances. This lady does have a strict dietary regime, so we're looking for someone who has a passion for cooking and the ability to follow recipes.
The lady we support enjoys socialising, listening to music, pamper days and getting her hair and nails done. She also enjoys going out in her car for drives and meeting up with family and freidns for coffee often! We'll need you to take a keen interest in her activities and help her to to help identify new opportunities for participation and inclusion.
For this opportunity, it's essential that you hold a full UK manual driving license as the lady has her own her mobility car which she loves using for drives to the beach and going for coffees.
About You
Here at Cornerstone, we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team, so it's not essential that you already have experience in care or qualification. We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
