This is an exciting, fast paced and challenging Unit to work on, with a fantastic multi-disciplinary team. We receive our patients from MAU and the Emergency department when they are in need of a short stay in hospital. A necessity for this role is to have a broad general medicine base and a flexible ability to work.. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge in supporting a team and experience with co-ordinating a busy ward area. The candidate for this position would be highly motivated and have a genuine desire to help people in every way they can and also provide the best health care across the board. To work in close liaison with the Ward Manager, and other Deputy Sister/ Deputy Charge Nurses, Matrons, Practice Development Team (PDT) and the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to provide the highest quality of assessment and evaluated care required to support each patient in their care pathway and improve the patient experience.
