The Opportunity:\n\nWe are seeking a proactive and reliable Handyperson to join my clients' team on a prestigious static commercial contract in the heart of the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional, client-facing environment, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site and maintaining high standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out general handyperson duties, including minor repairs, furniture moves, basic carpentry, painting, decorating, and patch repairs.\nAssist with meeting room setups and breakdowns, including moving tables, chairs, and ensuring AV equipment is ready for use.\nRespond promptly to day-to-day reactive maintenance requests and tasks as directed by the facilities team.\nEnsure all works are carried out to a high standard, with minimal disruption to tenants and clients.\nConduct basic checks and maintenance on building fabric and assist specialist contractors when required.\nMaintain accurate records of completed tasks and report any larger maintenance issues to the management team.\nLiaise directly with the client and site occupants, providing a professional, polite, and helpful service at all times.\nAdhere to all health & safety regulations and site-specific policies.\n\nKey Requirements:\n\nPrevious experience in a handyperson/fabric maintenance role, ideally within a commercial office environment.\nGood all-round knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, decorating, and basic plumbing.\nExcellent client-facing and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and use initiative.\nStrong awareness of health & safety best practices.\nFlexibility to adapt to the needs of the building and its occupants.\n\nWhat's On Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary - Negotiable based on experience (DOE).\nStable, permanent role with a prestigious contract.\nMonday to Friday schedule (No shifts or weekends).\n25 days annual leave + bank holidays.\nAccess to company benefits platform, pension, and training opportunities.\nLong-term career development prospects within a leading FM provider.Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
