Key Responsibilities for a Design Technology Teacher:
* Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Teach a range of DT disciplines, including Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Engineering.
* Guide students in GCSE and A-Level coursework and assessments.
* Encourage innovation, problem-solving, and hands-on learning through practical projects.
* Maintain a safe and well-equipped learning environment in the workshop.
Requirements for a Design Technology Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology, Product Design, or Engineering.
* Experience using CAD software and workshop tools is desirable.
* Passion for creative, technical, and practical education.
