Are you:
* Technically Skilled? With engineering qualifications to NVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
* Sharp Focused? The ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced, technical environment.
* Flexible? To adapt to the varying demands of train maintenance and operational needs.
* Proactive? With the initiative and motivation to lead by example and uphold the highest safety standards.
* Motivated? The drive to be the engine behind our operations, carrying out maintenance and repairs that keep our trains moving forward.
* Experienced? The ability to use diagnostic software to proactively identify and resolve issues and conduct root cause analysis. Alongside mentoring apprentices and contribute to our mission of improving rail travel for all.
Please note this role is safety critical and is subject to Rail Safety & Standards Board (RSSB) regulations. You MUST meet the following criteria for this position, or your application will be automatically rejected:
* Currently live within a 45-minute car journey from our Allerton Train Care Centre Postcode: L15 4LD.
* Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
* Pass the safety critical medical assessment, including drugs and alcohol screening.
* Not have defective colour vision.
