We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Account Manager to join our client in Southampton. This role involves managing and developing client relationships, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a portfolio of existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
* Building strong relationships through regular client visits across the region.
* Handling enquiries, providing product/service recommendations, and ensuring customer needs are met.
* Preparing proposals, quotations, and reports to support client decision-making.
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Analysing market trends and competitor activity to maximise sales opportunities.
* Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activity in the CRM system.
* Proactively following up sales opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in account management, sales, or business development.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
* Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings (driving licence required).
* Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.
