Job Description:
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of individual students and small groups
* Providing one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
* Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials and resources
* Supporting students during activities, projects, and interventions to enhance their learning experience
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate
* Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
* Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and support
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or Level 3) or equivalent
* Experience working with children in an educational setting
* Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a proactive and positive attitude
