An exciting opportunity has arisen for a VP Finance – UK&I Financial Controller – Defence to join our team. As the VP Finance – UK&I Financial Controller you will be responsible for the financial systems and production of the financial accounts. You will ensure the internal controls are maintained in compliance with external regulatory requirements and internal Group Policies At Rolls-Royce, we pioneer the power that matters to our customers, to society and to the planet. What you will be doing?: Senior Finance Lead for the Financial Controlling and Technical Accounting Function for United Kingdom and International Defence businesses Lead and develop the team to engender a positive culture of right first time and continuous improvement. Lead all Management and Statutory accounting and reporting processes for Defence United Kingdom and International Defence businesses, liaising closely with the GBS team to ensure accurate and timely delivery for United Kingdom and International. This will include operating within Defence as the CHQ/Consolidation activity for Mature Programmes, Early Lifecycle, Future Business, Operations and Procurement. Responsible for the statutory integrity of the P&L, Balance sheet and Cash Flow statement for the United Kingdom and International Defence businesses; making sure controls and governance are in place and provide finance approval authorisation in line with delegated authority. Responsible for rolling out and embedding finance transformation process changes into the United Kingdom and International Defence businesses Support management with information and reporting as required by the process. Must provide good quality management information to the business, thus releasing business partners from this requirement.
