Overview We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a knack for team management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently, providing support to both staff and management. Previous experience in an accountancy practice is preferred. Duties Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive work environment. Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance to enhance performance. Maintain accurate records and oversee clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management. Ensuring compliance with the firm's regulatory process Ensuring reporting deadlines are met Overseeing client communication and marketing activities Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping and reporting. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to foster positive relationships. Implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency. Handle human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained when dealing with inquiries or concerns. Organise meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in an office management role or similar administrative position. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred but not essential. Demonstrated ability to manage a team and supervise staff effectively. Familiarity with human resources practices is advantageous. Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities.
