Job summary We are looking for a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Global medical supportability Cell (GMSC) Contractor screening general practitioner (CSGP) to join our primary healthcare team. The Global Medical Screening Cell (GMSC) provides a single point of assured medical pre screening to Defence personnel and families accompanying an assignment overseas to ensure that individual healthcare needs can be met by the host nation medical capabilities. In addition to the main role of contractor screening the CSGP will work in collaboration with members of the GMSC team will aid in clinical decision making on supportability in complex cases for other MOD personnel assigned to alternative locations. Through effective medical pre-screening, maintenance of a Global Virtual Practice and reach back support, optimise patient care and enable any associated risk to be understood and articulated to the Chain of Command (CoC).
