Trade Finance sales - Vice President or Director - Large Corporates and MNCs
Job Purpose
As a Vice President / Director you will ensure excellence in delivering key activities, from marketing and execution to regulatory requirements. You will handle complex analyses autonomously, coordinate junior colleagues, and know when to escalate issues to senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Excellence: As a senior member, you will be responsible for:
* Coordinating origination and execution within your product area.
* Developing and executing strategies across sectors to secure new deals and clients.
* Maintaining client relationships and generating new business ideas to achieve annual revenue targets.
* Leading pitch processes, attending and leading client meetings, and negotiating terms.
* Overseeing the maintenance and management of transactions and files.
Utilise Expertise: Perform complex tasks and solve intricate issues creatively and effectively, assisting with workstreams and making independent judgments while escalating unusual issues as needed.
Team Management: Manage workstreams, ensure the quality of deliverables, coordinate junior colleagues’ tasks, and provide training to support their development.
Strategic Leadership: Lead decision-making for complex challenges, acting as an escalation point for junior staff and providing insights on both commercial and technical aspects of opportunities.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong networks with internal and external stakeholders, leading commercial discussions with clients under strategic guidance.
Requirements
* Expertise: Extensive experience and professional qualifications in Global Trade Solutions, gained within a leading institution.
* Knowledge: Advanced understanding of trade finance, products, and working capital solutions, along with good knowledge of Global Banking processes.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to translate technical concepts, offer specialist guidance, and construct market insights.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to deliver client-focused solutions.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication to simplify complex ideas and collaborate effectively.
* Attention to Detail: Focused on accuracy and improving team deliverables.
* Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and investment banking tools (e.g., Factset, Dealogic, Bloomberg).
* Compliance and Ethics: Commitment to operating within regulatory and ethical frameworks while upholding organisational values.
