Humanities Teacher
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £140 - £190 per day

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Humanities Teacher to join one of our client schools in Wakefield. You will work within a dynamic and supportive team to ensure that students gain a deep understanding of subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that cater to the diverse needs of secondary school students. You will also have the opportunity to develop critical thinking and analytical skills in young learners, fostering a passion for Humanities.
Responsibilities of a Humanities Teacher:
Plan and deliver Humanities lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Foster a positive learning environment to engage and support students.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the school’s curriculum.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as required.
Required Qualifications for a Humanities Teacher:
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
Specialism in Humanities subjects (History, Geography, Religious Studies, etc.).
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
