Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Thames Water.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on various projects, including electrical design, asset management, and technical standards.
* Define technical requirements in project briefs.
* Ensure compliance with regulations for electrical assets.
* Review and approve electrical designs.
* Enhance Technical Asset Standards for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing electrical engineering solutions.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
* Maintaining and improving technical asset standards.
* Providing expert advice on electrical engineering matters.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Degree level or equivalent with professional chartership likely in their Engineering Discipline or working towards.
* Extensive experience in electrical engineering design, including High Voltage and Low Voltage Systems.
* Meaningful water industry experience and understanding of regulatory environment.
* Ability to promptly deal with complex inaccuracies or discrepancies in documentation and specifications.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary between £46,800 to £70,200 per annum depending on skills and experience. Additional benefits include:
* 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays).
