About the role
Are you a qualified Primary Teacher that would be interested in a part time role teaching Year 6 classes from September?
Vision for Education are working closely alongside a client Primary School in Central York who are seeking a Year 6 Teacher for 3 days a week from September. With the vast majority of this role involving teaching Year 6 classes, the school have specified that the ideal candidate will have recent or significant experience working with this age group, whether that be in their current/previous role or during their PGCE placements. The school have also specified that the ideal candidate will be available at least 3 days per week, and being able to plan and deliver engaging lessons that can challenge pupils at all levels is a must.
The Role
The successful candidate will need to be happy teaching Year 6 classes, and with a great support network at the school, this is also a perfect role for Early Career Teachers (ECT's) that are looking to gain their first role for September.
Requirements
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
3. Have experience teaching Year 6 classes
4. Be available at least 3 days per week
