If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you SEMH Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor Location: Swindon Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm Long-term role with the potential for a permanent contract About the Role: Join a lovely and welcoming SEMH setting supporting young people aged 8-16 with a range of needs including: ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs) Challenging Behaviours You'll work closely with the classroom teacher to provide consistent, compassionate, and individualised support to help every student reach their full potential What You'll Be Doing: Supporting children with ASD, SEMH, and behaviour needs Assisting in planning and delivering engaging lessons Creating fun, interactive activities to boost engagement Helping pupils build confidence and positive relationships Maintaining a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment ✅ What We're Looking For: Experience supporting children/young adults with additional needs Strong communication and teamwork skills A positive, empathetic, and resilient attitude Commitment to consistent and high-quality support Willingness to adapt and be proactive in a dynamic setting Why Join Tradewind?
