Responsibilities Support the mentoring process and share best practice delivery to learners and employers Support IQA and EPA activities and process to facilitate the timely achievement of standards Support standardisation meetings, deliver training and quality sessions as agreed Support the internal compliance team in sampling evidence and reporting potential issues To ensure that IAG is embedded within systems and processes and is evaluated and developed on an on-going basis Establish relationships and networks with external agencies and governing bodies All processes, information gathering activities are evaluated, stored in accordance with quality processes & procedures Ensure monitoring and evaluations of our service are fair, not bias and are communicated throughout the organisation Support the Director of Quality in Self-Assessment and QIP activities, in line with Ofsted and EiF requirements Support the Director of Quality in all aspect of the Quality Calendar activities Knowledge of quality awards, standards, expectations are up to date and information gathering falls in line with requirement Support Designated Safeguarding Officer, referrals, advice are recorded/dealt with sensitively in accordance with guidelines Support an appropriately sized caseload in supporting the retention of occupational competence Support Curriculum Manager in the development of appropriate delivery models, associated resources within your sector are Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Extensive experience in the Early Years and education sectors Experience carrying out Early Years quality assurance activities Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload to meet business objectives Excellent time management skills Ability to work under own initiative, able to engage with other teams Well-developed interpersonal skills Good customer contact skills customer orientated Ability to work to strict deadlines Digital competence in the use of Microsoft applications Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience Good presentation skills Understanding of the Teaching Assistant apprenticeship standards Mandatory Qualifications Teacher, training qualifications (eg: PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert-Ed) Assessor qualification (eg; D32/33, A1, TAQA, CAVA) A-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths V1, D34 or IQA related qualification Childrens Care Learning & Development (Level 3), Childcare & Education (Level 3), Early Years Care & Education (Level 3) or equivalent/higher qualification Desirable Qualifications Operations Department Manager L5 (Standard) qualification or equivalent management diploma Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies Other Requirements Full enhanced DBS check will be required Full driving licence and willingness to carry out national travel Benefits Employee incentive schemes 25 days annual leave (increasing 1 per year to 28 days) plus Bank Holidays, Birthday and Employee Well-Being Days (2 days per year) Long service awards Company pension auto enrolment scheme Annual Golden Ticket winner (nominated by peers) £1,000 Excellent learning & development opportunities Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: 28,000.00 - £30,000 per year Benefits: Bereavement leave Company events Company pension Employee mentoring programme Free parking On-site parking Referral programme Work from home Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: Certificate of Higher Education (required) Experience: Internal Quality Assurance / Early Years Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required) Work Location: Hybrid remote, head office based in West Yorkshire.
