Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our busy Facilities Team at Rampton Hospital working as a Facilities Assistant primarily in our Transport Department but also within our Retail and Housekeeping Departments.
Working a shift pattern of four nights on and four nights off between the hours of hrs and hrs.
Previous experience of working in a Hospital environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
All applicants must must be over 21 years of age and have held a full British Driving Licence for a minimum of 12 months, allowing you to drive in the UK with 6 points or less on your licence which will be subject to a DVLA check. All applicants will be expected to successfully undertake a Group 2 Medical which will be arranged by the Trust.
There is an expectation if Category C1 & D1 Entitlement are not held applicants must be willing to undertake relevant training to achieve this licence category.
Main duties of the job
Supporting the Transport Department in the transportation of patients and staff to various other destinations away from the Rampton Hospital site.
Supporting the Retail and Housekeeping teams and assisting with a variety of tasks which may include the provision of patients shopping, stock control, there may be a need to provide support cleaning various area's around the hospital site.
Driving duties would take priority.
