Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Offer emotional support, mentorship, and a caring presence to the children in our home.
2. Cultivate a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment that promotes personal growth and positive behaviors.
3. Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, homework help, and recreational activities.
4. Forge meaningful connections and serve as a trusted adult figure in the children's lives.
5. Collaborate with our passionate team to create personalized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
6. Attend training and workshops to develop your skills in child development and trauma-informed care.
7. Maintain a clean and organized living space for the children.
Qualifications:
1. Genuine compassion, patience, and a heartfelt desire to positively impact children's lives.
2. While previous experience in childcare or related fields is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
5. A valid driver's license and willingness to provide transportation as needed.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
7. Life experiences such as raising children or dealing with trauma are highly valued.
