Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a part of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology waiting list team. We are looking for a full-time waiting list C-Section waiting list Ordinator with a cross cover for Gynaecology and Gynaecology Oncology. This is permanent contract working within a small team that is managed by our Senior Waiting List Co-Ordinator/Team Leader. You will need to be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player, with excellent organizational and communication skills. You will have a good understanding of the 18-week RTT pathways, the Patient Access Policy and be trained in PAS. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of patient confidentiality. Main duties of the job The post holder will provide waiting list management for the Obstetrics C-Section waiting list. This role relies on close working relationships with patients, consultants, secretaires, receptionist, the management team, and theatre teams. Main job role responsibilities - Arranging patients C-Section dates Managing C-Section requests on ICE Managing and actioning the Elective Procedure inbox Arranging patient inductions on Cley Attending and presenting issues at the C-Section escalation meeting weekly Working with our Obstetrics secretaries Handling patients queries via telephone and email Liaise with ward and theatre staff Use PAS to book patients TCI's Ensuring the Elective CS Booking system is correct with planned patients coming in and correct information added.
