What Youll Do: Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business objectives and workforce needs. Help to design and implement HR strategies to support business goals, including talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee engagement. Provide insights into HR metrics and trends to support decision-making. Talent Management & Development: Partner with managers to identify recruitment needs and ensure that the right people are in the right roles. Drive initiatives for leadership development, succession planning, and career growth programs. Oversee employee performance management processes, including setting performance goals and supporting with reviews. Identify training needs within departments and work with the HR team to support needs and implement programs. Foster a continuous learning environment and encourage personal and professional growth opportunities. Employee Relations & Engagement: Advise managers on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee concerns. Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and communication strategies. Work to resolve workplace conflicts and improve employee satisfaction and retention. Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies, and industry standards. Address any legal or compliance-related concerns within the workforce, including handling investigations, disciplinary and grievance actions. Change Management: Support organisational change efforts, including restructuring and new business integrations. Guide leaders and employees through transitions, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption. Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition: Help to identify workforce needs and ensure that the organisation is attracting top talent. Analyse turnover data and identify trends to proactively address retention issues. Help develop programs for onboarding employees. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use HR analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs. Report on HR metrics such as turnover, retention, employee satisfaction, and performance at monthly review meetings with key stakeholders. What Were Looking For Experience: 3 years of HR experience with a focus on business partnership or strategic HR functions, preferably in a similar industry. Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices in areas like employee relations, talent management, and organisational development. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to influence and drive change across the organisation. Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse HR metrics and translate them into actionable insights. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Driving license. What Were Offering Job type: Full time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, open to considering alternative working patterns. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
