As the Supply Controller for Reckitt, you're not just crunching numbers; you're fuelling decisions that enhance our operational excellence and profitability. You'll work closely with the heart of our supply chain, providing insights that drive strategic actions and improve our gross margin. Your responsibilities The key contact point for all finance and financial evaluation of ad-hoc projects on site, in support of the Site Director, UK Healthcare Leadership Team, Regional FD and Corporate Head Office (Slough). Cover all finance relevant/related to the factory; consisting of three key areas: Liquids, Dries & Buprenorphine (Manufacture and Packing). Reporting into the European Supply Director, you will Support the on-going development of the Site Finance team locally and as part of regional strategies. Evaluation of related Capital Expenditure to ensure that return on capital expenditure is maximised, and to manage the Capital expenditure process in conjunction with the Engineering team. Preparation and submission of Quarterly forecasts into Commercial team to support submissions process into Corporate Head office. Analysis of material variances (Price Variance, Usage, Bill of Material), incorporating into half year re-pricing, leading to Gross Margin Impact being passed through to Group Commercial Units (positive and negative). Responsibility for the financial preparation of the annual plan in co-ordination with the UK Healthcare Leadership Team, Site Operations Manager and Site Management team. Review and challenge all Productivity (Gross Margin Improvement) projects on site to evaluate impact on the site’s financial performance. Work cross functionally with the Site Management team and UK Healthcare Leadership team, to deliver the financial commitments of the factory, by influencing and challenging the activities of the site. The experience we're looking for Educated to Degree level or similar. A Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) possessing post-qualification experience in an FMCG or similarly high-volume manufacturing Organisation. Experience\working knowledge of key manufacturing topics – Material and Manufacturing Variances, Fixed Costs reviews etc, labour analysis. Proven experience of managing a team. Strong IT skills, covering SAP based accounting systems and Excel.
