Shift Pattern: Days, Nights & Weekends
As a Dedicated Support Officer, you will provide security services at a prestige shopping centre. Protecting the customer's employees, property and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements. Delivering the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
About the Role
1. Meet and greet all staff, visitors and contractors in a professional and personable manner
2. Deliver a consistently high-end customer focused experience
3. Respond appropriately to varying and fast changing priorities
4. Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site
5. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV
6. Conduct internal & external patrols & duties
7. Maintain all logbooks and records, ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures
8. Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management
9. Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
10. Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions
11. To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises
12. Undertake any other duties as requested by Management
Essential Skills
1. SIA Licence (Desirable but not essential as the right training can be given)
2. CCTV Licence (Desirable but not essential as the right training can be given)
3. Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history
4. Access to vehicle/good transport links
5. Able to get to the Site on-time for your shifts (reasonable commute)
6. Minimum of 1 years experience in the Security Industry
7. Excellent customer service and communication skills
8. Works on own initiative and as part of a team
9. Computer literate
10. Ability to practice our values of Integrity, Helpfulness and Vigilance
11. Hard working and organised
