An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic psychology graduates with experience and interest in working with children and young people with eating disorders .
This is a varied role which offers the successful candidate the opportunity to participate in clinical and service development roles under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist. The successful post holder will receive weekly supervision, training and support in this role and be part of one of the UK’s most innovative healthcare Trusts.
Applicants should possess a good honours degree in psychology ( 1stor high 2:1), preferably have experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties and previous experience of administrating psychometric assessments would also be an advantage.

NELFT’s SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Service is for anybody aged between 8-18, living in the Southend, Essex and Thurrock areas and is free at the point of entry.
The SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Service has been successful in developing a new Intensive Support Pathway which will also include a Day Programme to aim to keep children and young people closer to home.
The candidate will support the development and research within the new project of the Intensive Support Pathway model.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
