Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Religious Studies & Philosophy to join a School based in Harrow.
Required for February 2025 or as soon as availability permits
The School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified Teacher of Religious Studies & Philosophy for a maternity cover from February to August 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and well-qualified teacher, experienced or one new to the profession.
Applicants without formal teaching qualifications or experience will also be considered for this position. The School is excellent at training and developing teachers through its induction programme and by working with PGCE providers. The school supports unqualified teachers in achieving Qualified Teacher Status and the Post Graduate Certificate of Education qualification whilst working at the School. For applicants without a teaching qualification they are looking for: passion for their specialist subject; excellent subject knowledge; enthusiasm; strong listening and communication skills; determination and resolve; a desire to get fully involved in the extra-curricular life of the school.
