That’s why we are currently seeking a dedicated Rota & Training Coordinator to join our team and support the Control Room’s scheduling & training needs.
In this important role your primary focus will be on efficient rota management, training coordination, and maintaining effective communication with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
This role is based in Wokingham and allows for hybrid working, requiring a minimum of three days in the office each week, giving you the flexibility to balance your work and home life.
Key accountabilities
* Develop and maintain the Automated Rota Management Tool, incorporating functionality and business updates.
* Efficiently prepare, deliver, and update Control Room Operational Shift Rotas with an aim to minimise overtime while ensuring resource management is cost-effective.
* Coordinate resources for internal training alongside the Training Unit team.
* Assist the Workforce Capability Specialist with training and development plans and provide cover during their holiday absences.
* Schedule resource for operational training.
* Serve as the Authorisation Officer, ensuring fair authorisation panel operations.
* Provide guidance on holiday rules for new starters.
About you

In this case, we’re looking for someone with a strong scheduling or booking background, capable of managing complex schedules with attention to detail.
Experience in customer or stakeholder support and administrative roles is essential.
We value initiative, teamwork, and holistic admin support experience, ideally gained from industries such as hospitality, call centres, recruitment, or reception.
As well as above we are expecting you to:
* Be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Computer literate, with intermediate-level MS Excel, Word, and database knowledge.
* Highly capable of building positive working relationships with internal and external clients, contributing effectively to team collaboration.
* A good general education to GCSE/A Level standard, including English and Mathematics.

A competitive salary between £39000 - £41000– dependent on experience and capability.
