This global food business is looking for Food Technologists with a thirst for learning and development. Here you’ll be given every opportunity.
This food business has won awards for sustainable sourcing. They supply ambient global products, branded and private label, into major retail customers, Waitrose being one of their largest. With suppliers in Asia, South America, and Europe, you’ll be speaking to them on a daily basis.
You’ll need a good technical background – food science degree, knowledge of BRC and HACCP and ideally some audit experience. We’re pretty open on the product area you’ve worked in, but you’ll ideally have experience supplying into UK retail customers. Day to day you’ll be liaising with your key retail accounts, proactively to build strong working relationships.
There’s lots of interesting projects to get your teeth into – working with new and existing international suppliers to deliver new concepts to the UK market. It’s pretty fast-paced, you’ll need to prioritise the workload while working on multiple projects. You’ll be responsible for everything related to quality and technical standards for your customers’ products including all specifications, packaging approval and complaint investigations, so it goes without saying, your attention to detail is key.
Attitude is as important as aptitude. If you enjoy learning and want to develop, you’ll be working within a supportive team based at their Surrey HQ. Personal development and growth are put at the top of the agenda here; internal and external training along with coaching and support from your manager will all be available.
To start the ball rolling, send your CV and I’ll be in touch to share all the details.
Please note: you must have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
