Job Description Key Responsibilities Managing relationships with external corporate service providers, both onshore and offshore Supporting transaction execution activities, liaising with internal and external counsel and team members in relation to onboarding requests, corporate structuring, incorporations and formations and transaction documentation Assisting with onshore and offshore execution of documents including assisting with the notarization and apostilling of documentation Assisting with and implementing corporate changes resulting from acquisitions, disposals, joint venture arrangements and corporate restructurings Organizing and attending board meetings, minute-taking and preparation of written resolutions Monitoring relevant legislation and regulations and liaising with and advising colleagues in matters of company law Ensuring Diligent company database is up to date and producing quarterly reports Maintaining the suite of group structure charts for all BPG managed investments Maintaining corporate database / corporate housekeeping and requesting and filing transaction bibles Assisting in relation to complex due diligence / money laundering / know your customer requirements Ensuring Brookfield’s continued compliance with applicable beneficial ownership regulations Liaising with Brookfield’s offices in Luxembourg and North America regarding legal entity protocols Knowledge and Experience 10 years previous experience in a law clerk / company secretarial role Management of junior team members Good working knowledge of PowerPoint / Excel / Jigsaw (or equivalent) Fluent in English, any other European language considered an asset Strong communication skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team Educational Qualifications Qualified Chartered Secretary and/or commensurate legal qualification/experience We are proud to create a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
