If you
* Have 5 years experience of managing flood risk AND/OR Building Surveying projects
* Want to lead a team creating solutions to increase the resilience of homes and businesses against flooding.
* Have a degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar.
* Want to be part of a growing and dynamic environmental business.
* Like to work independently but with the support of a close-knit friendly team.
Then come and join our team at RAB as a Senior Flood Risk Consultant.
What you will be doing:
* Managing projects to specified quality, time and expenditure budgets
* Surveying buildings at risk from flooding to recommend Property Flood Resilience measures.
* Leading a team of surveyors and assuring their work.
* Writing reports with appropriate conclusions and recommendations using plain English.
* Representing the company at community engagement events.
What you will need:
* The ability and willingness to travel and work anywhere the UK.
* Have good personal drive to succeed with a willingness to learn.
* Have good verbal and written communication skills.
* Have strong organisational skills.
* Have a desire to help and be empathetic to individuals and communities affected by flooding.
* Be competent in the use of relevant IT software.
