Packhouse Manager – Hereford- £50,000 DOE + Bonus + Accommodation + Relocation Allowance
The Job:
Lead, innovate, and grow with a market-leading fruit business. We are recruiting for a driven Packhouse Manager to oversee the entire fruit production process—from growing and picking to packing and distribution.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the full fruit-growing, harvesting and packing operation, ensuring a seamless journey from field to market. You will lead and develop a skilled team, including seasonal staff, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and industry compliance with regulations such as BRC, HACCP, LEAF, and Red Tractor. Additionally, you will oversee stock control, packaging and overall packhouse performance, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and productivity. The Candidate:
- Three to five years of leadership experience in fresh produce or a related sector
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience with industry standards and accreditations
- A results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment
The Package:
- £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Performance-based bonus
- Accommodation provided
- Relocation allowance available
