9am-2pm Saturdays
Hourly pay rate: £13.50
I am a positive, funny, kind and caring lady in my early forties. I am looking for a team of personal assistants tosupport me to live independently in my own home and get out and about. I enjoy being taken to the theatre, (musicalsor pantomimes), the cinema, bingo, meals out, parties, walks along the seafront (weather permitting) and spendingtime with family and friends. In 2015 I was diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately through having treatment Iacquired some brain damage which has caused multiple physical disabilities. However, I have a positive outlook onlife and enjoy it to the best of my ability despite this. This will be a rewarding, long-term role for the right person.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Administration
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

The ideal candidate will be resilient and have experience of supporting people with complex needs.
Additional requirements Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
