Estimator - Facilities Management
Location: Barrow in Furness/North West - Some travel
Salary: Up to £60,000 plus car allowance

Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Role Responsibilities:
1. Manage the bid and resource co-ordination process involving both direct and indirect staff management.
2. Provide information and prepare and compile proposal submissions, solution and option appraisal of new methods of FM Service delivery to identify valid and viable commercial delivery options.
3. Proactive approach to continuous improvement in communications, management procedures and systems to maximise profitability and improve operational efficiencies.
4. Use BMF Estimating package/system to verify validity of bids.
5. Obtain specialist subcontractor costs.
6. Formulate bid based on BDM brief where required.
7. Labour loading of asset information.
8. Attend site visits as required across the UK as part of the bid process.
9. Attend Divisional Bid Meetings.
10. Progress submitted tenders and assist in formulation of tender returns.
The successful candidate:
1. Educated to HNC/HND Standard (or equivalent).
2. Excellent management experience.
3. Must hold relevant qualification in quantity surveying (degree level preferable).
4. Experience working within a QS capacity.
5. Relevant experience of estimating within the FM Industry.
6. Experience of working in an SFG20 environment is desirable.
7. Proficient IT Skills to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
8. Ability to obtain SC Clearance.
9. Hold a full UK driving licence.
