Senior Finance Director - Global Energy Business Unit Jacobs has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, financially and technically savvy leader to join our Growth & Operations/Predictive Finance team as Global Head of Finance for Energy & Power. You will provide strategic insights and support to senior management to drive business performance and achieve financial objectives in a fast-growing global business unit. In this role, you will lead a team and partner with senior leaders in the organization to drive a successful and transparent financial planning process. You will play a central role in advising on strategic bids and market expansion. You will also collaborate across the wider Finance organization on continuous improvement activities and lead transformative initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Growth & Operations, you'll be a finance partner to the Global Executive Vice President for Energy & Power and their leadership team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the success of annual business planning, quarterly forecasting, along with timely and accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis, financial presentation preparation and ad-hoc analysis for your leadership team. You'll highlight business trends, develop KPI's and provide insights to help drive improvement in financial metrics. Part of the deliverables will include coordination with the Executive Leadership Team members on prioritization reviews of enterprise change initiatives, supporting development of return-on-investment calculations in business cases and ensuring robust measurement of Jacobs financial performance is delivered in Quarterly reviews. More than financial leadership, you will be a true strategic partner to your stakeholders. Stakeholder management, being a true strategic partner and ability to synthesize and effectively communicate key aspects to the Executive leadership team will be key. You will prepare detailed financial models, ad hoc analysis and forecasts to support data-driven decisions and long-term planning, moving further towards predictive modelling. Part of your role will be to develop and implement an improvement plan to standardise, simplify and where possible automate key processes consistently with Jacobs's tools and processes to make better use of our existing tools and drive next stage improvements. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field and relevant chartered status Significant experience in corporate finance within a complex, global professional services organisation. Experience in the Energy & Power or Infrastructure engineering sector is an advantage Strong financial analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret and articulate insight to non-financial team members Proven track record of driving systematic change to modernize finance tools in large organization helping finance in the journey to move from data to predictive insights Strategic thinking combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to project manage multiple initiatives Strong communication and presentation skills, with the gravitas and ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively to a non-financial audience. Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success.
